Often not. Headless adds cost and maintenance, and a well-built theme is enough for most stores. I'll recommend it only when the benefits clearly justify it.

Back-office apps do. Apps that add storefront widgets usually need replacing or integrating through their APIs, and I'll review yours before we start.

Yes. Content can be managed through Shopify metaobjects or a headless CMS, so your team doesn't need a developer for everyday changes.
