About these terms

This website is run by Sanjay Barad, an independent software engineer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Quotes and payment

Every project is different, so this site doesn't list prices. After a call I send an estimated timeline, and the final scope and amount are agreed in writing, on a project or hourly basis. Unless we agree otherwise, 50% is due before work starts and 50% before launch.

That written agreement takes priority over this website if the two ever differ.

Portfolio and content

Text, design, code and images on this site belong to me unless stated otherwise. You may share links to the site, but please don't copy or republish its content without permission.

Most projects shown on this website were not freelance work and are shown only to demonstrate skills and experience. Not all images are real; many are illustrative mockups. All projects, brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and neither I nor my team claim ownership of them.

Project names, technology names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe my experience. No ownership, partnership or endorsement is implied. To request a correction or removal, email hello@sanjaybarad.com.

Acceptable use

When you use this site, please don't:

• Attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it.
• Send spam, malware or unlawful content through the contact form.
• Scrape it to build competing datasets or impersonate me.

Third-party links

This site links to services I don't control, such as WhatsApp, GitHub and LinkedIn. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave.

No warranty

I work to keep this site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees. General information here is not professional, legal or financial advice for your situation.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you a right that cannot be waived.
