Translating High-End Luxury into a Digital Boutique
For Twila True Fine Jewelry, a brand synonymous with elegance and bespoke craftsmanship, I engineered a sophisticated Shopify storefront designed to mirror the physical boutique’s luxury experience. The primary challenge was to handle high-resolution imagery and intricate product details without compromising on site performance. I focused on a Minimalist UI that allows the jewelry’s artistry to remain the central focus while providing a high-conversion shopping journey.
I developed a custom theme architecture using Liquid and Advanced SCSS to achieve a “boutique” feel on the standard Shopify platform. By implementing custom AJAX search and filtering, I made it effortless for customers to navigate through diverse collections of fine gems and timepieces. I prioritized Core Web Vitals and image optimization to ensure that the mobile experience—where the majority of luxury browsing occurs—was fast, fluid, and visually stunning.
