Architecting a Multi-Brand Experience on a Single Domain

For Bella Dona, I engineered a unique and complex Shopify solution that successfully merged two distinct brands—Bella Dona and Sweet Street—into a single, unified domain. The primary technical challenge was to maintain the individual brand identities while sharing a common backend. I developed custom Liquid templates and advanced JSON schema configurations to allow for completely different “look and feel” designs for each brand’s collection and product landing pages.

Beyond the web experience, I led the design and deployment of the Mobile App using a specialized Shopify app integration. By focusing on UI/UX fidelity, I ensured that the premium aesthetic of both brands remained consistent across both the web and mobile platforms. This project required deep expertise in CSS/SCSS isolation to prevent style bleeding between the two brand templates while maintaining a high-speed, Core Web Vitals optimized environment.

Project Summary

This project demonstrates my ability to solve complex branding challenges through creative Shopify engineering. By merging Bella Dona and Sweet Street into one ecosystem, I streamlined operations for the client while providing a tailored shopping experience for two different customer bases. I specifically managed the User Interface transition between the two brand worlds, ensuring that the navigation remained intuitive despite the distinct visual styles.

The final result is a high-performance, SEO-friendly storefront and mobile app that effectively doubles the brand’s reach. My commitment to 100% design accuracy and technical performance ensured a seamless user journey, whether customers were shopping for fashion on the web or via the dedicated mobile application.
