Engineering a Scalable Global Storefront
Successfully architected a massive multi-brand consolidation for the Osburns Family, merging four distinct business units—Offroad, Apparel, Sign, and Associates—into a single, high-performance Shopify Plus domain. This ambitious project required a sophisticated theme architecture, featuring four unique design systems and tailored templates for products, collections, and homepages, all coexisting seamlessly under one roof. The result is a unified digital ecosystem that maintains individual brand identities while centralizing business operations.
Beyond the front-end complexity, I collaborated on the development of a custom Laravel-based Middleware App to handle advanced B2B and VIP functionalities. This includes a dynamic pricing engine for different customer tiers (VIP, VVIP) and a specialized product ingestion system that fetches real-time data from third-party sources. By optimizing the API handshakes and request-response cycles, we created a hybrid commerce environment where external product data meets the robust native Shopify checkout experience.

Project Summary
The Osburns project is a technical masterpiece of “Sub-Store” logic within a single Shopify Plus instance. My role involved leading the UI/UX strategy to ensure that search results and navigation remained contextually relevant to the specific brand the user was browsing. By providing technical guidance on the Laravel app’s API structure and managing the complex Liquid logic for four different brand personas, I delivered a scalable, enterprise-grade solution that significantly reduced operational overhead for the client.
